Sociology is the study of social relationship, development and function of human society. Throughout the course of sociology you can lean many things about your society and even your self. Sociology will change the way you look at life and might be able to reflect on future designs or ideas. When enrolling in sociology you will be able to have a set of skills to see sociology, have the knowledge of sociology, and have values of sociology. By having skills, knowledge, and values you will be able understand the world and see how many social problems people have all over. Not only you will be able to see a different world your very own life changes. You come to second think every thought and getting a better understanding of your own life. I can remember the first day of sociology class and without a doubt I will probably remember it the rest of my life. On the first day we got into groups of two and where told to hold hands and stare at each other for a few minutes. At first I thought it was the most awkward thing I have ever done in my life but once we where told why we did it I was more understanding. People don t like to go out of the social norms and attract attention to themselves so by doing this we where able to learn about the social norms and become more open to our peers in class for the rest of the semester.
